Scott Morrison, CPA, CCIFP
Managing Partner
Scott Morrison, CPA, is the Managing Partner of Morrison & Associates, CPAs. For the past twenty plus years, Scott has been meeting the specialized needs of construction contractors by providing financial statement and tax compliance services. He has developed strong team relationships with Valley bond agents, surety companies and banks to serve growing companies. Working with business owners, Scott also develops financial and tax plans that maximize tax savings and meet a company's bonding needs.
Scott is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of CPAs, a licensed Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) with the Construction Financial Management Association, Arizona Builders' Alliance , Surety Association of Arizona and the Entrepreneurs' Organization. He grew up in Tempe, Arizona and received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Arizona State University.
Scott has been married to Julie for over 25 years and they have two children. He is an active member of his church and serves as a youth leader. Scott, an avid car enthusiast, enjoys restoring and driving British Morgan and Jowett vehicles and can be found participating in local car rallies.

Shaun Clark, CPA, CCIFP
Financial Team Partner
Shaun Clark is the Financial Team Partner with Morrison & Associates, CPAs. Shaun was previously the owner of Rusk & Heard, P.C., a CPA firm in
Mesa
, and merged his practice with Morrison & Associates in September, 2007. Shaun has been a practicing CPA for 18 years. He has extensive experience in construction, small business accounting, auditing, 401(k) plans, tax planning and consulting.
Shaun is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arizona Society of CPAs, a licensed Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) with the Construction Financial Management Association and Arizona Builders Association. He has a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Software Engineering from the
University
of
Montana
.
Shaun married his wife, Vicky, in 1995. They have two children, Syra and Rizon. He is active within his church and is treasurer of Convoy of Hope. Shaun enjoys participating in any sporting activity he can find and would happily audition for Ninja Warrior. He and his family enjoy hiking and participating in local orienteering events.

Glenn Conover, CPA
Director of Tax Services
Glenn Conover has over 20 years of experience providing tax and consulting services to the real estate and professional service industries and has experience in the estate and trust tax area. He also has substantial experience in corporate and partnership tax matters and has been involved in tax planning for numerous purchases and sales of businesses.
Prior to joining Morrison & Associates, CPAs, Glenn was the tax partner at Epstein, Weber & Conover, PLC, a 35 person CPA firm which merged with Moss Adams, the 11th largest accounting firm in the U.S., where he became a Tax Partner. Glenn's experience of running his own accounting firm helps him relate and understand the problems and concerns of other business entrepreneurs.
Glenn is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of CPAs. He also served for 5 years on the board of the Phoenix Boys Choir. He grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and earned both his master's degree in Taxation and his B.S. in Accounting at Arizona State University.
Glenn has been married to his wife, Renee, for over 20 years and they have two sons, Jake and Mickey. Jake joined the Army in the summer of 2010 and Mickey is a student at Shadow Mountain High School, involved in the football and baseball programs. Glenn enjoys racing his RX7 at club racing venues and riding ATVs with the family.

L. Cris Costigan, CPA, CCIFP
Tax Team Manager
Cris Costigan has over twenty years of accounting and taxation experience. At Morrison & Associates, CPAs, she works primarily on personal tax returns. Cris has specialized in construction accounting and working with start-up operations. Her background includes owning an accounting and tax practice, serving as the controller for a construction company, and working for Deloitte Touche's tax practice.
Cris is a licensed Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) with the Construction Financial Management Association, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. She received her B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University.
Involved in a number of civic and professional activities, Cris is an active member of the American Subcontractors Association of Arizona and a founding member of the East Valley National Charity League.

Jared Asay, CPA, CCIFP
Audit Team Manager
Jared Asay has over 11 years of experience providing attest and consulting services to the construction and real estate industries. He also has extensive experience in auditing employee benefit plans. He has developed strong working relationships with Valley bond agents, surety companies, bankers and other construction industry professionals to serve growing companies. Prior to joining Morrison & Associates CPAs, Jared was an audit manager at the 7th largest accounting firm in the U.S and has served as the corporate controller for an international company in the auto glass industry. Jared's experience in the public and private sectors helps him relate and understand the problems and concerns of financial managers.
Jared is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arizona Society of CPAs, and a licensed Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) with the Construction Financial Management Association. He has a B.S. in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Indiana University.
Jared has been married to his wife, Aimee, since 1999 and they have four children. They relocated to the Valley of the Sun in 2004 after spending five years in Chicago. He is an active member of his church, enjoys spending time outdoors participating in all sporting activities, and playing games with his family.

Susan Annette Johnson, CPA, CCIFP
Senior Financial Team Member
Annette Johnson joined Morrison & Associates, CPAs in 2005. Specializing in financial statement presentation, Annette, with more than 20 years of experience, provides a wide range of functions for attest engagements including compilations, reviews and audits for privately and closely-held businesses and their owners. Annette also has an extensive amount of experience providing management advisory services and tax preparation for business and individual clients.
Prior to moving to Arizona in 1995, she was in public accounting in the Chicago area for 8 years specializing in real estate development. Most of her time has been devoted to advising owners of closely-held businesses on attest functions, tax planning and compliance, accounting procedures and computer accounting systems. Annette also has experience in other fields including realtors, manufacturing, restaurants, medical professionals, and service-related industries.
She is a licensed Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and the Treasurer of the Construction Financial Management Association. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arizona Society of CPAs, and Valley Partnership. Annette received her bachelor's degree from the Mundelein College of Loyola University.

Sue Marion, CPA, CCIFP

Sue Marion became a member of the Morrison & Associates Tax Team in 2009. Sue has 19 years experience in the accounting and tax fields. She's held controller & tax manager positions and owned her own accounting and tax practice for over five years. Sue is a licensed Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and holds a master's and bachelor's degree from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio.
Sue is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of CPAs and an active member of her church. Her passions include golf and grand kids.
Sue began her construction experience as a bookkeeper for her father-in-law's general construction business in Ohio. She has served construction clients in tax planning and compliance and served as a general contractor controller.

Jeff Tolonen, CPA

Jeff Tolonen joined Morrison & Associates, CPAs in 2012. Jeff is a former IRS agent with 9 years of tax and accounting experience. He has been serving as a CPA in Arizona since 2007, specializing in tax compliance services for small to mid-sized businesses and high net worth individuals. Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of CPAs. He earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Cal Poly, Pomona and a Masters in Business Administration from Cal State, Northridge.
Jeff has been married to his wife, Candice, since 2006 and stays busy with their two young children, Blake and Carly. Blake was born in January 2010 and Carly in October 2011. When not changing diapers, Jeff is a barbeque enthusiast and enjoys cooking and baking.

Rosa Fagerstrom, CPA

Rosa Fagerstrom joined the Morrison & Associates team in 2007. She specializes in financial statement preparation, which includes assisting clients with compilations, reviews, and audits. Rosa is a member of the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants, the Arizona Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Rosa received her B.S. degrees in Accounting and Management from Arizona State University and attained her CPA license in August, 2009. She grew up in Rockford, IL and moved to Arizona in 1997 to attend ASU. Rosa is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Dave. In May, 2010, the Fagerstrom family expanded with the wonderful addition of their first daughter, Sarah. Rosa enjoys spending time with her family as well as her moms' group, doing Issac Asimov's Super Quiz at lunch with fellow team members, camping, reading, and long walks with her dog, Bailey.

Holly Martin, EA
Tax Team Member
Holly Martin has worked for Morrison & Associates, CPAs since 1998 and "loves doing taxes." She provides a range of client services including bookkeeping, tax return and financial statement preparation.
Before entering the accounting field, Holly taught high school and worked as a resource teacher. She grew up outside of Pittsburgh and graduated from Pennsylvania State University. She has been a practicing Enrolled Agent since 2006.
Holly has been married to Joe for over 35 years and they have two married daughters, Christine and Kimberly. They were recently blessed with two beautiful granddaughters born in 2010, Anemone and Kate. She enjoys spending time with her granddaughters, playing games with her family, reading, arts & crafts, and cheering for the Steelers and Nittany Lions.

Danielle Krakowiecki, CCIFP

Danielle Krakowiecki has worked for Morrison & Associates, CPAs since 1998. She specializes in financial statement preparation which includes assisting clients with accounting software problems to the final issuance of the financial statements.
Danielle is a licensed Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) with the Construction Financial Management Association and received her B.S. degree in Accounting from DeVry Institute of Technology. She grew up in Ketchikan , Alaska before moving to Arizona in 1994. Danielle met her husband, Joe, on a blind date 11 years ago. They have one son and one daughter. Danielle enjoys reading and time with her children.

Jason Phillips

Jason Phillips recently joined Morrison and Associates, CPAs in October, 2010. Jason graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2007 with a degree in Accounting and a degree in Finance. His prior experience includes working in the filed of auditing clients in various industries including health care, manufacturing, and commercial real estate as well as fulfilling various staff accountant roles.
Jason is excited about his return to public accounting and developing new professional relationships. He is currently studying for the CPA exam. Originally from Kansas City, MO, Jason is a very active (and competitive!) basketball player and likes being involved in various community activities.

Janeen Butler
Tax Team Member
Janeen Butler joined the Morrison & Associates Tax Team in 2011. She is working towards her Masters in Taxation at Arizona State University and preparing for the CPA Exam. Janeen discovered her love of accounting while working as a bookkeeper in the property management industry. She grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia and moved to Arizona in 2001 to be somewhere warmer.
Janeen married her husband Geoff in March, 2010. They enjoy being season ticket holders to ASU football games. Janeen tries to make it back to Morgantown for one Mountaineer game a year, creating a fan in Geoff. She also enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and is attempting to take on gardening.

Lisa Dziadon
Financial Team Accounting Services
Lisa Dziadon, an accounting professional for over 29 years, has worked for Morrison & Associates, CPAs since 2001. She has worked in construction accounting for 19 years and in the trucking industry for 7. Her accounting experience has included every facet of the bookkeeping position for both general contractors and subcontractors. Lisa has extensive knowledge of various computerized accounting software and training methods and works with company bookkeepers and owners to improve their books and records. She provides monthly bookkeeping services to Morrison & Associates' clients.
A second career writing fiction keeps Lisa busy. She currently has several projects in various stages of development.

Professional Services Member
As a valued staff member of Rusk & Heard, PC for 13 years, Shirley joined Morrison & Associates when Rusk & Heard, PC merged with us in September, 2007. She has worked in the accounting field for over 40 years with several CPA firms, a Nonprofit Health organization and a resort. She has had responsibilities as a full-charge bookkeeper and as a VITA worker for the Internal Revenue Service.
Shirley has two sons and one grandson. Originally from Ohio , she has lived here in the Phoenix area for over 35 years.

Yolanda Martinez, has worked for Morrison & Associates since 1997 and provides professional, clerical and administrative support to our professional staff.
Yolanda has a grown son and daughter and loves being a grandmother to Serena 13, David 12, Marisela 6, and Devin 4. She enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, movies, and admits she is on "Team Jacob" (Twilight Saga.)

Lee Campbell
Administrative Assistant
Lee Campbell joined Morrison & Associates in 2008. Her current responsibilities include providing clerical and administrative support to the professional staff.
Lee received her B. S. degree in Resource Economics from University of Maryland before moving to Arizona in 1982. She married Ron, her college sweetheart, and they recently celebrated their 20th anniversary. With more than 15 years of customer service, sales, and administrative experience, she broke from the work force to raise her three daughters.
With two now in high school & college, Lee finds working part-time to be a great balance to her active family. Lee has been a Girl Scout leader for 14+ years, served as PTO President of Aprende Middle School & is active in East Valley National Charity League. She is an advocate for diabetes research and environmental protection. When there is a free moment, Lee likes to ski, hike, and travel.

Julie Morrison, SPHR
Firm Administrator
Julie Morrison has been working for Morrison & Associates, CPAs since 2002. She is responsible for firm culture, human resources, billing and collections. Julie received her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification in 2009. She has a B.A. degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and previously worked for the City of Tempe in the Police and Human Resource Departments.
Currently, she volunteers for the Tempe Sister Cities organization as the Beaulieu-sur-Mer, France coordinator, chairs a tea and cooks for Hackett House, and is the head usher at Dayspring United Methodist Church.
Julie and Scott have been married for over 25 years. They have a daughter who attends the New England College of Optometry in Boston and a son who attends the University of Arizona. Their Schnauzer, Morgan, is a frequent visitor in the office.
